ORTHODOXY
 
    The word „orthodox” derivation from Greek and this mean: right belief or right glory (ortho - right, dokso - belief, glory). To half XI century most local churches belonged to one Ecumenical Christian Church. However clear differences between East and West rised already on IX century.
    The final gradual process had place in 1054, when Pope by their emissaries, final demanded of the jurisdictional authority above other churches. Patriarchates: Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem, not accepted principate of Roman bishop, and still preserve on risen valid churches decision principle of the council.
    On time crusaders expeditions to arrive at sharp tensions between East and West, and also breach relations, when capital Byzantine, Constantinople, suffered in the hands of the Crusaders, whos looted his churches.

Childrens from baptism time and chrismation (this sacraments gived at the same time) accesed to Eucharist. Priests and deacons not oblige celibat, maybe that decided to monks life or obtained ordination before married. Bishops are appointed from monks.
    Orthodox people crossing oneself not all palm, but three fingers, symbolic Holy Trinity, however last two fingers symbolic two nature of Christ.
    On Polish territory, language of the Liturgy is Slovian language, however in ones parishes, language of the Liturgy is a Polish.
    Eastern Christianity is presence on Polish territory from other thousand years. This was christianity on eastern ceremony partialy from Morawy, when activity saint brother Cyril and Methodius, and partialy from Kijev's Russian, which was christianity from Byzantine. First diocese on Polish territory was create in Uhrusk, then removed to Chelm. Second diocese on this time already existing was diocese in Przemysl. On Jagiellons time, on territory of the Both Nations Kingdom lived more orthodox people than Roman catholics. Most Orthodox people lived on territory Lithuanian Grand Principality. Metropolitan of Kijev was superior of the Orthodox Church, approved by Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. On time of the alien reign, Polish Orthodoxian was become included to Russian Church.
    On 1924 Orthodox Church in Poland was received autocephaly (self governing).
